On The Verge: The secret’s out on these 20 up-and-coming
beauty pros. Whip out the PalmPilot. Olga Lorencin-Northrup, Kinara
Spa, Los Angeles. After working with LA skin care guru Ole Henrikson
and collecting a few star clients of her own, Lorencin-Northrup
partnered with restaurateur Christine Splichal (of Patina, Nick & Stef’s,
Zucca and Pinot fame) in 2002 to open the sun-washed Kinara (the
name means "on the edge" in Hindi). She also recently
launched her own five-product line; its Lactic Acid Hydrating Serum
is a daily staple for regulars such as Halle Berry.
