Pampering,
L.A.-Style
By
Leslie Brenner
SPAS
At West Hollywood's just-opened day spa Kinara, the food is as decadent as
the treatments, thanks to co-owners Olga Lorencin, the exuberant Yugoslavian
skin-care technician, and restaurateur Christine Splichal. After indulging
in a massage, milk bath, or Lorencin's made-to-order facial, you can shop for
European imports (slippers, pillows, throws) at the boutique. Or relax in the
garden café with wine, tea sandwiches, and chocolate cake created by
Splichal's husband, Joachim, chef-owner of Patina. Finally, an L.A. spa that's
about more than clean living.
